Engineering Fall 2019 Commencement Ceremony

    Celebrating strudent achievements in completing the required coursework for their degrees. Our College ceremony is very special, as we take the time to acknowledge our students’ achievements. These are a few of the awards granted for excellence at graduation

     

     

     

    • Top Honors in each major
    • Senior Design winners
    • John L. Rumpf Award - Named for the founding dean of the College of Engineering, this award is given to a graduating senior who has demonstrated an outstanding understanding of the concepts of engineering, a strong development of character and ethical behavior, and the greatest potential for success in the profession of engineering.
    • Theodore P. Vassallo Award - Given to a graduating senior who has made outstanding contributions in service to the College of Engineering. The award is named for the founding associate dean, who was an advocate for community outreach and student service. The winner of this award is often time the student speaker at the college graduation ceremony.
