Engineers Week: Engineers Entering the Workforce

    College of Engineering

    Temple Engineering Alumni panelists sharing their professional experiences. Alumni panlists include:

    Kenneth Carter (ENG, 11)

    Kenneth Carter is the lead engineer for the Electrical, Avionics, and Sub-Structure Integration (EASI) program at Boeing.

    Kyle Clark (ENG, 18)

    Kyle Clark is a Software Engineer Asc for Lockheed Martin at their Valley Forge campus. As a software engineer, Kyle has begun his carrier in the field of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). 

    Eloise Gibby, EIT (ENG, 16)

    Eloise is employed as Civil Engineering Staff at the Philadelphia office of Greeley and Hansen. Her experience includes preliminary design research, site design, utility design, computational modeling and design services during construction. 

    Alexander Hazuda, EIT (ENG, 17)

    Alexander Hazuda is an Engineer I at HNTB Corporation at their Philadelphia Center City Office. Alex works in HNTB’s Structures Department where he does bridge design and inspections. He has previously worked on projects for the AMTRAK, Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA), NCDOT, PennDOT, and SEPTA. 

    Christine Mendenhall, EIT (ENG, 17 & 18)

    Christine is a Structural Engineer for WSP in Lawrenceville, NJ, working on load ratings and bridge designs for bridges across the country.

    Maureen Shiels (ENG, 16)

    Maureen Shiels works for Inteprod LLC  as a Mechanical Engineer where she currently designs, develops and aids in the manufacturing transfer process for medical devices. From diagnostic equipment to life-changing wearable devices, Maureen utilizes her mechanical background daily through her designs.

    Andrew Staehle (ENG, 15)

    Andrew works for Gannett Fleming as a Mechanical Designer in Valley Forge, PA. Andrew currently works in the Facilities group designing HVAC and Plumbing systems for industrial, pharmaceutical, and educational clients.
