The Human Subjects hands-on training session is designed to provide an overview of creating a Human Subjects protocol in the new ERA Version 15 application. It will focus on introducing the new redesigned interface for the Human Subjects module. Participants will gain knowledge with the following topics:

1. Creating the new Human Subjects Protocol

2. Navigating the new interface

3. No more expandable tabs/clutter

4. No more icons. All actions as text based links

5. Creating the Initial Submission and submitting it for routing

6. Signing off a protocol on routing to get it submitted to the IRB using the online dashboard tool
