The System to System (S2S) hands-on training session is designed to provide an overview of creating all proposals that are submitted electronically through ERA to any federal sponsor supported by  Grants.Gov (except NSF). It will focus on introducing the new look with a simplified process of adding research personnel and the streamlined budget model in Version 15. Participants will gain knowledge with the following topics: 

1. Setting up a S2S application

2. Adding internal/external research personnel on your project

3. Changing PI and updating your project/budget dates

4. Entering budgetary information for prime and subaward including direct and indirect costs

5. Importing subaward budget form

6. Completing the administrative portions and submitting them for internal approval and routing

7. Signing off a proposal on the preliminary route using the online dashboard tool

8. Utilizing the filename link tool on the finalize tab

9. Verifying the submission package by running XML validation and NIH Sponsor validation.
