Film screening and Q&A: "Where's Daddy"

    Klein College of Media and Communication

    You are invited to experience the critically acclaimed, landmark documentary "Where's Daddy."

    This documentary by Philadelphia filmmaker Rel Dowdell, examines hot-button issues embedded in the contentious child support system with an emphasis on the often devastating experiences African-American fathers encounter navigating that system.

    One of the fathers featured in this film is a former Philadelphia Daily News reporter, whose encounters with this 'system' included incarceration. Another father featured is a graduate from Temple University's medical school whose experience gives a haunting new dimension to tragic.

    This exclusive screening includes a Q-&-A with filmmaker, director Dowdell.

    This screening is 6-8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 25th in Rm3 of Annenberg Hall.
