An Screening of Student Documentaries from the Film Media Arts Department at Temple University
Saturday March 4, 2017 at the Institute of Contemporary Art
In September 2016, the FMA Documentary Workshop was invited to respond to The Freedom Principle: Experiments in Art and Music, 1965 to Now exhibit at the Institute of Contemporary Art. Each student selected an artwork from the show and created a short documentary film response building off the themes that resonated with them most deeply. A wide range of topics emerged: race, police brutality, neon as the light of future past, machines replacing humans in the workforce, utopian communities, able-bodied privilege and empathy.
We invite you to join us for a screening and conversation with these filmmakers. Admission is free. Registration suggested.
