Global Fusion is returning to Klein!
This conference is at the cutting edge of global media research. From October 14-16, more than 100 scholars and graduate students from across the globe will gather in the Charles Library to present on a variety of topics ranging from health to immigration, to video games, to global media industries and more.
Keynote Speaker: Audrey Gadzekpo, University of Ghana
Audrey Gadzekpo, PhD is a professor at the Department of Communication Studies, University of Ghana. She has almost 30 years of experience in teaching, research and advocacy on media, gender and governance, and close to 35 years practical experience as a media practitioner

About Global Fusion and Temple
Temple University was one of the founding members of the Global Fusion Conference series, which started in 2000 with the goal to promote academic excellence in global media and international communication studies. Today, the conference is sponsored by a consortium of universities including, in addition to Temple, Ohio University, Southern Illinois University, Texas A&M University, the University of Texas at Austin, and the University of Virginia. Global Fusion particularly encourages graduate students and junior scholars to submit their work to continue the conference's commitment to fostering connections between new scholars and more established ones.
