    About the Speaker

    Lauren Kogen (PhD) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Media Studies and Production at Temple University. Her research focuses on communication for development and social change (CDSC) (specifically, how to use communication to improve the lives of marginalized groups) and communication about development (specifically, how social change issues are framed for American audiences). She has conducted numerous evaluations of CDSC projects both in the United States and internationally.
