Sponsored by the Klein College Department of Journalism, students, faculty and staff are invited to join us for an in-depth look and Q&A session with crucial figures in journalism during an exclusive documentary screening of Stripped for Parts: American Journalism on the Brink on Thursday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Stripped for Parts: American Journalism on the Brink, directed by Rick Goldsmith, is the story of one secretive hedge fund that is plundering newspapers nationwide and the journalists who are fighting back. Who will control the future of America's news ecosystem: Wall Street billionaires concerned only with profit, or those who see journalism as an essential public service and the lifeblood of democracy?
