About the lecture
In this talk, Angela and Urszula will discuss their new textbook, UX Research Methods for Media and Communication Studies: An Introduction to Contemporary Qualitative Methods. The book provides an introduction to the UX field and takes readers through the entire research design process, including detailed breakdowns of 12 essential UX methods. Angela and Urszula will discuss what these contemporary research methods could look like in the classroom, both for those aspiring for careers in the industry, as well as those looking for more creative, contemporary and relevant methods for studying digital spaces within academia. They will each provide current examples of using some of these methods in their work and will end with a discussion about breaking into the UX industry.
