Co-hosted by Institutional Advancement’s Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations and the College of Public Health, Allison Trimarco of Creative Capacity LLC will present a grant writing workshop for the faculty of the College of Public Health. Part one of the workshop on March 16th will cover topics such as different types of philanthropic corporate and foundation grants, what makes a successful proposal, and how to find the right opportunities for your mission. Part two of the workshop on March 23rd will cover how to write a great proposal.
About the presenter: Allison Trimarco founded Creative Capacity in 2002 to train nonprofit organizations on topics that include fundraising, grant writing, strategic planning, board development, and volunteer management. She is a trainer with The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University’s School of Business, where she has handled fundraising and strategic planning projects for arts, education, and social service organizations and she is also an adjunct professor in Drexel University’s graduate program in arts administration (audience development) and La Salle University's graduate program in Nonprofit Leadership (fundraising).
