Temple University’s Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) and the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) announce a free workshop opportunity Tuesday, December 13 on Maximizing White Papers/Concept Papers For Grantseeking Success.
This workshop is part of a collaborative Grantsmanship Training Series OVPR and CFR have designed with national consultants Hanover Research. Three customized grantsmanship training workshops for Temple research faculty, staff, administration, and development officers are planned for 2016-2017. The first installment of the series – White Papers/Concept Papers and their Role in Grantseeking – will take place Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016. Upcoming trainings will be held in February, 2017 (Navigating the Funding Landscape) and April, 2017 (What To Do When Your Proposal Is Not Funded).
Two identical sessions will be presented; the morning session is 9 a.m.– noon, and the afternoon session is 1–4 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided at each session.
In advance of this training, our presenter from Hanover Research would like to solicit input from participants about their experience developing white papers/concept papers. Please click here to take a brief, five-minute survey to help Hanover best refine this training to our needs. Hanover also is looking for volunteers to share copies of their concept paper(s) at the workshop.
