Join the Office of Sustainability for a teach-in and volunteer day event at Harrowgate Park, led by a 2021 GRASP award winner, Michelle Lee Delgado, a graduate student in Tyler's MLArch program. Delgado's research has centered on understanding community-led deterrents to curb illegal dumping. Collaborating with the Friends of Harrowgate Park, Impact Services, and pro bono landscape architects from Nelson Byrd Woltz, a planting design has been developed for the corner of Jasper Street and East Schiller Street.
Attendees will learn about the steps it took to get here and be a part of the implementation! By registering for this event, you are signing up to volunteer alongside other Temple students in-person at Harrowgate Park at 3455 Kensington Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134 from 11:00 AM - 4:30 PM on Saturday, November 6th.
