"Cuban born pianist Ana Gabriela Fernández studied at the Universidad de las Artes in La Habana, where she was graduated with honors in 2014 with a Licenciatura en Música with major in piano, and at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México / UNAM, where she received a Master’s Degree in Music Performance in 2017. At UNAM, where she studied with Lilya Zilberstein, Sara Davis Buechner, Evelyne Brancart, Gabriela Montero, and María João Pires, she received a DMA in Performance with a dissertation on the music of Julián Orbón in 2021."
