Human Trafficking 101

This course is an introduction to human trafficking. Human trafficking (HT) is the second largest and fastest growing criminal enterprise worldwide. Pennsylvania is a pass-through, destination, and source state for human trafficking. This course will give service providers and community members the tools to: increase knowledge about sex and labor trafficking, understand the warning signs and dynamics of HT, become familiarized with local anti-trafficking legislation and policy, identify the red flags of HT and how victim trauma exacerbates vulnerability to HT, and become familiar with the local resources that can provide assistance to victims of HT.
