As Engineers Week 2020 comes to a close, please join students, faculty, and college leadership as we officially cut the ribbon to open the new second floor IDEAS Hub space.
Special guest speakers include Temple President Richard Englert and Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, co-chair of the House Women in STEM Caucus and who holds an engineering degree from Stanford.
There will be demonstrations of the equipment, including drone flying stations, motion capture, 3D printing, robotics and more.
The IDEAS (Innovation, Design, Engineering and Applied Science) Hub is part a 8,000-square-foot renovation that is part of a collaborative ecosystem in the college. The Hub will empower our students to do more than learn about the world around them. Now, they can change it, too.
