We are honored to invite you to join the Delaware Valley DEI Consortium on April 11, 2023, for the region’s first Equity in Medical Education Summit, We’re Making Change Happen.

In partnership with the Independence Blue Cross Foundation’s Institute for Health Equity, this Summit will be the first in an annual series bringing our region’s unparalleled medical education resources together to promote equity and improve the health of our communities.

The Summit will consider the landscape of successful educational initiatives underway in the Delaware Valley to identify unmet needs as well as potential areas of collaboration in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

We have built an exciting agenda of presentations and facilitated conversations led by national experts in DEI medical education with experience building pathway programs, addressing barriers to admissions and assessment bias, building mentorship and behavioral health support models, improving the learning climate, advancing service learning, and creating networks to ensure success in clerkship, residency, and beyond.
