Join us for a webinar group viewing of Metadata to interpret our statistics into the future: Introducing the United States Census Bureau Data Repository, part of the 2018 ICPSR Data Fair.
A new US Census Bureau Data Repository has been launched to preserve and disseminate survey instruments, specifications, data dictionaries, codebooks, and other materials provided by the Census Bureau. The repository also lists additional Census-related data collections from ICPSR's larger holdings. This repository helps fulfill key recommendations made by the 2017 “Report of the Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking” and it continues the long-standing partnership between the US Census Bureau and ICPSR, dating back to the 1960s. Presented by Jared Lyle, Director of Metadata and Preservation at ICPSR and Director of the Data Documentation Initiative (DDI) Alliance.
Temple’s ICPSR representatives will be on hand to answer questions about Temple’s ICPSR membership, data access, and depositing options.
