Jenny Nordberg and "Bacha Posh"

    College of Liberal Arts

    Journalist Jenny Nordberg's pathbreaking work on “bacha posh,” the practice of dressing and raising Afghan girls as boys, has been published in the New York Times and in her book, The Underground Girls of Kabul. Join her for a discussion of gender in a global context followed by a reception. Refreshments will be served.
