Library Workshop: Mechanisms of Meaning in the Unseen: Data Art

    Mina Zarfsaz, Interdisciplinary Artist and Adjunct Assistant Professor, Tyler School of Art
    Angela McQuillan, Mixed Media Artist and Curator at Esther Klein Gallery at the Science Center
     
    Data often needs interpretation for it to have a cultural value. Although data visualization is a common way of interpretation, sonification is one of the new methods for perceiving patterns in data. Learn how data can be represented using sound and how to turn your own data into something creative and new.
