Christian Allen will be joining us from Japan, where he has been an English-language instructor in the Japanese-government-sponsored Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program since last fall. Christian is based in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture—about 425 miles northeast of Tokyo. A 2019 College of Liberal Arts graduate who majored in Asian Studies, Christian was born and raised in Philadelphia. He began studying Japanese at Community College of Philadelphia, and continued taking courses in the language up through his graduation from Temple. Christian will share with us experiences he has had and his perspectives on living and teaching in Japan. Come join us!
