Join the College of Public Health's Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences' Diversity Committee to have an open and inclusive discussion about current events related to politics, social justice, and equity. The purpose of this series is to provide context to current political challenges affecting the country and provide a public health position on these events. Topics will include reproductive health policies, access to care for immigrants, racism, and hate crimes. Participants will discuss varying viewpoints on these issues, engage in meaningful dialogue and align perspectives with the appropriate public health discourse. Attendance is encouraged for students pursuing public health professions. All university faculty and students are welcome to attend.
