Martin Luther and the Reformation in Saxony (500th Anniversary)

    Speaker: Johannes Träger, University of Leipzig
     
    Johannes Träger will examine Martin Luther and the Reformation, reflections about Luther's motherland Saxony, the beginning of Reformation, Luther's "Thesenanschlag" and the actual implication of "Reformation 2017". The lecture will be given in German.
     
    Johannes Träger was born in 1980 in Germany. He studied history, theology and pedagogy and teaches history at University of Leipzig and history/religious education at secondary school. He is a PhD-Candidate in church history, with his main focus on reformation time.
     
    Light refreshments to be served. There will be Q&A in German or English after the lecture. The event is free & open to all.
