Frank Morelli, prominent solo and recording artist and chamber musician, is on the faculty of The Juilliard School, the Yale School of Music, the Manhattan School of Music and SUNY Stony Brook. Mr. Morelli was principal bassoonist of the NYC Opera for 27 years and is a member of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra as well as Windscape woodwind quintet. He has made more than 175 recordings for major record labels, and is the first bassoonist to be awarded a doctorate by The Juilliard School. Mr. Morelli plays the Leitzinger Bassoon exclusively.
