Jordy Freed is an award-winning brand marketing and business development executive with more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of technology, music and culture. As Senior Director, Deputy Head of Sony’s Personal Entertainment Business, he leads global campaigns, strategic partnerships and product innovations across entertainment, consumer and professional audio technology.
A recognized leader in brand innovation, Jordy has been featured on Spin’s “Top 25 Most Influential People in Music,” Adweek 50, Business Insider’s “Rising Stars of Brand Marketing,” and Variety’s “Hollywood New Leaders.” He has also received Pollstar’s NextGen Award and multiple Clio Awards for breakthrough marketing work.
At Sony, Jordy has guided global campaigns such as “For The Music” and developed partnerships with leading platforms including Spotify, Amazon Music, SoundCloud and BandLab. His artist collaborations span Post Malone, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Alicia Keys, Miguel and Peso Pluma—including a headphone collaboration with Rodrigo featuring a custom EQ tuned to her sound. In 2025, he helped launch the Sony Audio Institute with NYU Steinhardt and established Sony as the official pro audio partner of the GRAMMY Awards.
Before joining Sony, Jordy held senior roles at Blue Note Entertainment Group, Grey Group and Rivet VR, where he developed business partnerships and marketing campaigns with brands such as Intel, Pernod Ricard, the European Union Government and NHK. He also helped launch Sony Hall in Times Square through a partnership between Blue Note and Sony Group Corporation.
