The untimely death of Jeff Featherstone on May 7 is a loss keenly felt by the Temple University community and those who knew him. His family, wife Nancy and daughters Lia and Lin, his many friends, colleagues and students mourn his passing.
On June 4, you are invited to Temple University Ambler for a celebration of Jeff's life where we will commemorate the legacy he built over decades. Jeff touched people locally, nationally and internationally; in the classroom and out. Speakers from all aspects of his life will share personal insights — how he made us think and how he made us laugh. The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow at 3 p.m.
Consistent with Jeff’s humble, informal style, everyone is asked to dress casually. For those that cannot attend, the event will be live streamed — details to come.
In keeping with Jeff’s commitment to the environment, please consider using public transportation or carpooling to attend. There will be a shuttle provided before and after the program and reception from the Ambler Train Station to the Temple University Ambler Campus. For details, please contact Crisbel Baez at 267-468-8020 or crisbelm@temple.edu. Visit here for directions to campus and parking information.
We want to share the impact that Jeff had on so many of us with his family. We will be creating a scrapbook of stories, pictures and memorabilia. If you would like to contribute, please send your stories or pictures to Karen Sapp at karen.sapp@temple.edu or bring them to the Life Celebration.
