The 9th Mid-Atlantic Student Colloquium on Speech, Language and Learning (MASC-SLL 2022) is a one-day event bringing together graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and researchers from universities and industry in the Mid-Atlantic area. The colloquium is an opportunity for graduate students and postdocs to present preliminary or completed work and to network with other researchers working in related fields.
This year MASC-SLL will be held in person at the Temple University (TU), Philadelphia, on Saturday, April 30th, 2022. There is no registration charge, and refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Plus, the event will feature two awesome keynote speakers: Ellie Pavlick (Brown University/Google) and Alexander Rush (Cornell University / Huggingface).
Students and postdocs should submit a one-page abstract (yes, an abstract is enough!) describing ongoing, planned, or completed research on computational approaches to speech, language, and learning. Accepted submissions will be presented as either posters or talks. We strongly encourage you to submit anything from work-in-progress to work that has been previously published and presented at a conference. All are welcome!
Submit online at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mascsll2022.
