MLK 365: Creating Action for Longterm Justice

Institutional Diversity, Equity, Advocacy and Leadership (IDEAL)

This panel conversation will focus on how Dr. King utilized social justice advocacy to stimulate change. This conversation will also highlight the impact of self-action and service while countering saviorism. Additionally, this program will debunk revisionist history in how Dr. King is presented as a passive Civil Rights Leader by discussing sacrifices made for a more just society.
