Temple’s Office of Community Relations provides opportunities for faculty, staff, students and alumni to volunteer for MLK Day of Service projects on Temple's Main and Ambler campuses.
Dendy Recreation Center

The Offices of Community Relations, Upward Bound and the Dendy Recreation Center Advisory Council will host a cleanup service project. Youth from the Upward Bound Program will assist with other volunteers.
Documentary Screenings hosted by the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, Advocacy and Leadership with support from Community Relations
IDEAL has planned four documentary screenings at the Howard Gittis Student Center. Temple staff and external community members will be invited to attend. Following each documentary, a brief discussion will take place.

The Office of Community Relations will partner with the Computer Recycling Center and the church to participate in cleanup projects. Outdated computer equipment will be removed and treated by the Computer Recycling Center. The project will begin at 11 a.m. and should be completed by 1 p.m.
