Music Studies Colloquium: Liszt’s Sonata and Religious Aspiration as an objet petit a

    Presenter: Yumi Kim, Temple University

    Yumi Kim is a third-year PhD student in music theory at Temple University where she researches hermeneutic analysis, musical narrative, sonata theory, and music theory pedagogy. Her dissertation will engage issues of narrative, temporality, and form of Liszt’s Sonata in B minor.
