Join the College of Public Health for this lunch and learn as part of National Public Health Week. Ongoing research in technology and public health will be reviewed.
- Dr. Sarah Bass, associate professor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences and director of the Risk Communication Laboratory, will discuss her current projects in mobile health and web-based decision aids. These studies address clinical trial participation in ethnic minority cancer patients and treatment initiation for HCV+ methadone patients.
- Dr. Sharon Herring, associate professor in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine and the Center for Obesity Research and Education, will present her work on mHealthfor weight control during and after pregnancy.
