Net Impact is an undergraduate student organization focused on Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Enterprises, Sustainability and Resilience, and Shared Value. Each Friday Net Impact hears from local companies who focus in sustainability. For Campus Sustainability Week and our theme of Greening the Economy, they're opening up their weekly meetings to everyone for a conversation with Temple Alum Dylan Baird of Philly Foodworks.
More about Philly Foodworks:
Philly Foodworks makes buying, eating, and sharing fresh food as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible. They work with a diverse group of producers and distributors to navigate the challenges faced by producing outside of the mainstream commodity food system. Their online farmers market, events, and communications make buying and learning about these foods easy. They feel that food is how people connect to themselves, the land, and their community, and that by engaging with food more consciously, we can build a world that nurtures these connections.
