Chat in the Stacks: Race in the Race: Voting Right and Responsibilities

    Temple University Libraries

We invite you to join us for our first Chat in the Stacks of the fall semester. Ahead of the November elections, we’ll be discussing voting rights and responsibilities, and ask ourselves, are we speaking to the issues? Our featured speaker will be State Senator Sharif Street, chair of the Pennsylvania Democratic party, who will be introduced by his father, former Mayor John F. Street.

The event will also be live streamed via Zoom Webinar, for those who are unable to attend or prefer a virtual format. Access the live stream here: https://temple.zoom.us/j/93944153144

For 15 years running, the Libraries and the Faculty Senate Committee on the Status of Faculty of Color have co-hosted this engaging series of panels on timely topics, featuring faculty from across the university.

Our programs are geared toward a general audience and are open to all, including Temple students, faculty, staff, alumni, neighbors, and friends. Registration is encouraged.
