Twelve years after the onset of the revolution there are myriad frameworks and approaches to understanding the Syrian catastrophe. In this seminar, we bring together leading researchers in the interdisciplinary field of Syrian Studies both to share their current research and to address how the conflict and its trajectory have shaped their research projects, as a way of understanding what these trends tell us about the effects of protracted conflict on the lives of Syrians and knowledge production about the conflict.
