Ambler Arboretum: Spring Horticulture Hike

    Spring Horticulture Hike

    Take a Spring Horticulture Hike through the gardens with Ambler Arboretum Director Kathy Salisbury on Friday, May 17, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The hike will begin at the Flagpole Circle in front of Bright Hall. Register online here.

    Horticulture Hikes are horticulture intensive tours that will be held in partnership Tyler School of Art and Architecture Greenhouse Education and Research Complex Manager Benjamin Snyder. During the Horticulture Hikes, participants will explore plant identification, use and culture, and more. Think scientific names, distinctive traits, phenology, seasonal interest, distinguishing look alike plants and practicing using various resources for identification.

    Horticulture Hikes will be held on (Spring) Friday, May 17, (Summer) Friday, August 16, and (Autumn) Friday, October 11.
