Emmy®-nominated music editor, composer, arranger, producer, audio engineer Lex Simakas joins us to talk about his career in the audio and film industry. Simakas will share demos of the work he does day-to-day with a Blackmagic Design Fairlight Console Audio Editor during his presentation.

Avenues in the Arts: Professionals and their Pathways Series produced by the CPCA Student Success Center in partnership with the Music Technology Business Society invites professionals in the arts from film, theater, music and dance to the Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts community to speak about their careers. Students will learn about different pathways in the performing and cinematic arts through discussions about branding, self-promotion, freelancing, networking and much more while learning what’s required to be a professional post-graduation.
