Fifty Years of Dance: Join the Boyer College Dance Department as they celebrate 50 years of dance training, education, and scholarship.

For half a century, the Temple University Department of Dance (part of Boyer College of Music and Dance since 2002) has supported a creative, reflective and inclusive learning environment through artful expression, passionate teaching, and academic excellence. Through embodied practice, they honor traditions while exploring new ways of knowing dance.

Celebrate how the interdisciplinary art of dance—embodied, musical, poetic, sculptural—has contributed to knowledge, transformed social worlds, and facilitated community engagement within and beyond Temple University.
