C. Spencer Yeh was born in Taiwan in 1975 and is now based in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a sound artist/ composer he utilizes voice, violin, and sound organization. He is active as both a solo and  collaborative artist. In addition to his primary project, Burning Star Core, he has worked with Vito Acconci , Jutta Koether, Tony Conrad and others.
Performance venues include The Kitchen, Freize Arts Fair, NADA, Sonar and more.
