Sondra Perry was born in New Jersey in 1986 and is currently in the artist - in- residence program at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. She earned her MFA from Columbia University. Her interdisciplinary practice in computer based media/ performance explores subjective experiences in the digital world. Her work has been included in exhibitions at MoMa/PS1 and the Seattle Art Museum. She has participated in residencies at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and the Vermont Studio Center. She was a Panelist at the Brooklyn Museum about Black Artists on Social Media.
