Electronic Media Disposal Event

    Information Technology Services

Every year Data Privacy Day raises awareness about the importance of privacy and protecting personal information. To participate in this campaign, the Temple offices of Information Security and Privacy, Sustainability, and the Computer Recycling Center have contracted with ProShred to bring you a safe disposal event.

On Friday, February 17 (rain or shine) from 11:30 pm to 1:30 pm, you can bring USB flash drives, CDs, DVDs, tapes, hard drives and other small media to the Bell Tower on 13th street in front of the Library for secure disposal.

ProShred's secure truck will accept your small electronic media (not paper) and destroy it. You will be able to witness the sensitive information being destroyed on the spot in the ProShred truck.

This is a great opportunity to help protect yourself and Temple University from information and identity theft. We look forward to seeing you on February 17!
