On May 8, 2017, come and join us for a roundtable discussion on the progress of the university-wide Big Data initiative that was initiated last year through the Targeted Funding Program on Big Data.
The meeting will provide updates on the funded research projects that were awarded by the Office of the Vice President for Research last year. It will also provide an opportunity to learn about the progress made during the last year to expand and improve Big Data Infrastructure and Data Management plans across the university. Panelists will provide short presentations on thier projects to date followed by a brief question and answer session. Finally the meeting will convene a discussion of the potential for Temple University to participate in a new regional big data grant opportunity sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
Information about the NSF program to fund Regional Big Data Innovation Hubs is found here.
We look forward to you joining us!
