Temple Theaters presents
Hit The Wall
By Ike Holter
Directed by Brandon McShaffrey (MFA ‘12)
September 13 - 24, 2017
Randall Theater
Set during the first night of the historic Stonewall Riots, a group of unlikely revolutionaries are thrust to the frontlines of history. Placing the audience just on the periphery of the conflict, the story is told through a number of lenses: from a young gay teen who is spending his first day in Greenwich Village to a drag queen mourning the recent death of Judy Garland. With an imaginative and theatrical blend of history and mythology, Hit the Wall shines a contemporary light on the legacy of Stonewall.
