Six time Grammy winning composer Vince Mendoza will conduct the Temple University Studio Orchestra in the world premiere of a new work commissioned by the Boyer College of Music and Dance, "Constant Renaissance," featuring jazz faculty Terell Stafford (trumpet) and Dick Oatts (alto sax). "The Singing Rooms," by Pulitzer Prize and Grammy winning Philadelphia composer Jennifer Higdon, will be performed by the Temple University Symphony Orchestra and Choirs. Paul Rardin conducts. Rounding out the program is Prokofiev's Suite from Romeo and Juliet and Bernstein's West Side Story Overture, performed by the Temple U. Symphony Orchestra. Andreas Delfs conducts.
