Hip-hop scholar, cultural critic and poet, Kevin Powell, will give a keynote address on the intersections of race, gender, sexuality and hip-hop, as well as other themes related to hip-hop and the liberal arts. Inspired by the Charles L. Blockson Collection’s recent acquisition of Tupac Shakur archival materials, this event will feature Powell’s keynote address, a moderated Q&A and interactive performances directly following the keynote in the Underground (Student Center).
This event is sponsored by Intellectual Heritage, Temple Libraries, the Charles L. Blockson Collection, First-Year Writing and the Honors Program.
