Mary-Jo DelVecchio Good, PhD, Emeritus Professor of Global Health and Social Medicine, Harvard Medical School is a comparative sociologist and medical anthropologist teaching medical students, undergraduates, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at Harvard for over 36 years. Professor Good studies the culture of medicine and psychiatry in the United States and globally. Professor Good co-edited the international journal Culture, Medicine and Psychiatry from 1986-2004. Her publications include over 100 peer reviewed articles and book chapters and 6 books, including American Medicine: The Quest for Competence (1995) and Jiwa Sehat, Negara Kuat (Healthy Psyche, Strong Nation): The Future of Mental Health Services in Indonesia, 2019.)
