On Sunday, February 2, Tyler will sponsor a bus going to Washington DC’s National Gallery of Art.
The bus leaves at 9 am sharp from 13th and Diamond Streets, and will go the the National Gallery, between 3rd Street and 9th Street on Constitution Avenue, NW in Washington, DC. We will leave from the same location at 5 p.m. to return to Tyler around 8 p.m.
There are many free things to do in DC. Most Smithsonian Museums are free. Washington DC runs a circulator bus to get you to other places in the city for $1. You may do anything you like in Washington as long as you are back to the National Gallery when the bus leaves at 5 p.m.
You must register for a seat on the bus. Registration will open at 9 am on Monday, January 20. The trip is limited to 54 people, and all Temple students are invited to come, but you must register individually (in other words, you cannot sign up a friend–they must sign up themselves) and you must be logged into your TU Mail account to sign up.
If you need a wheelchair-accessible bus, you must register and then email kati@temple.edu no later than 4 pm on Friday, January 24 so a wheelchair accessible bus may be ordered.
