About the lecture
This session will offer an overview of the day-to-day editorial decision-making process at the Journal of Communication. Attendees will gain an understanding of the current editorial vision for the journal, what types of submissions are gaining traction, what works are not as well received and why. It will also address the types of submissions the journal's editorial team would like to see increase in the future. The second half of the session will allow attendees to provide feedback on the journal, ask specific questions about submissions (past, present or future) and raise any additional concerns for our editorial consideration. Overall, the session is meant to provide an understanding of the inner workings of the journal and allow attendees to offer valuable feedback on what they would like to see take place with the journal.
