Local journalism is faltering in both the United States and the United Kingdom for similar reasons: The historic business model that supported local journalism -- and local investigative reporting in particular -- has crumbled. But there are some hopeful signs in both countries. On this panel, we will discuss some of the ways local investigative and accountability journalism is coming back, and what the future might bring.
