Temple University College of Public Health, Aramark and the Urban League of Philadelphia will proudly host the first annual North Philadelphia Health Fair on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The focus of this year's health fair will be kidney health. Healthy kidneys are important for your overall health and wellbeing. Join us to learn about protecting your kidneys, get free health screenings and consultations, and pick up LOTS of free resources to help you keep yourself and your family healthy! The event is free to attend.
Health screenings and info sessions will be provided by the National Kidney Foundation and Gift of Life Donor Program.
Complimentary parking will be available in the 15th Street lot located at 1855 N 15th Street.
The Health Fair will feature:
- Health screenings (blood pressure, blood sugar tests and more)
- Opportunities to talk with healthcare professionals
- Healthy food and beverages
- Family friendly entertainment and activities (DJ, bounce castle and fitness activities)
- Nutrition/cooking workshops
- Giveaways
- Appearances by Philadelphia’s favorite sports mascots
