Join us for a moderated discussion with Temple University Gallery of Success honoree John Foy, KLN ’89. Professor Jack Klotz will moderate the conversation, which will explore the keys to successfully launching a career in the media industry. Foy will draw on his expertise as a leading live entertainment, music and production figure.
A Q&A session will follow featuring Temple University 30 Under 30 recipient Xavier Conaway, KLN ‘19.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
John Foy is a television producer and former vice president of production at Endemol Entertainment, the Amsterdam-based production company behind hit shows such as Fear Factor (NBC) and Big Brother (CBS). Foy has produced many popular reality shows, including Biggest Loser (NBC), Breaking Bonaduce (VH1), Beauty & the Geek (WB), ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT and Election Night Live with Brian Williams, the first ever 2024 livestream election results on Amazon Prime.
His production work on Elton John: Farewell from Dodger Stadium, John Mulaney Presents Everybody’s In LA and the Netflix special John Mulaney Baby J has won him countless awards, including an Emmy, two Critic’s Choice Awards, a Television Critics Association Award and a 2015 Lew Klein Alumni in the Media award.
Xavier Conaway is the clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Conaway strives to provide meaningful access to the justice system by the timely, efficient and fair processing of all matters within Maryland courts. Conaway was recently named a recipient of Temple University’s 2025 30 Under 30 Award, an honor bestowed upon alumni who lead and help change the world through grit, will and vision.
